My Story

I’ve been a B2B marketer my entire career, spanning 25 years and multiple industries, from IT hardware and software, to telecommunications and most recently professional services. My expertise is in strategy and planning, and creating powerful multi-channel, multi-format marketing programmes and campaigns that help organisations engage meaningfully with their customers.

In February 2014 I won 2 awards in the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s prestigious annual Marketing Excellence Awards – the coveted overall Marketer of the Year as well as the Professional Services Campaign of the Year.

CIM awards 4

I’m a member of the B2B Marketing Leaders Forum and the Business Marketing Collective, industry bodies driving the development of B2B marketing across the UK and Europe.

I also contribute to industry journals in print and online – including Marketing Week and the PSMG magazine – and comment on B2B marketing-related topics in my blog and on Twitter @TaylorMadeInKew.

I regularly speak at marketing conferences in the UK and internationally, including:

  • B2BInProf (February 2016): Think different, do different, do differently
  • TMP Sales & Marketing Forum (February 2016): Taking a big idea to market
  • Marketing Week Live (April 2015): Making marketing personal in B2B
  • Marketing Kingdom, Belgrade, Serbia (March 2015): Rules of engagement for the social era
  • B2B Sales & Marketing Forum, Warsaw Poland (December 2014): 7 rules of engagement for the social era
  • Festival of Marketing (November 2014): Heart to heart: customer engagement in the social era
  • Marketing Week Live (June 2014): 7 rules of engagement for the social era
"My ambition is to challenge and inspire B2B organisations and marketers to think different, do different, and do things differently, so that we become truly memorable in the hearts and minds of our customers. "
